Fontina Restaurant in Armonk

This place is my first choice site. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. when I I need a decent supper, this is the place that comes immediately to my head. splendid and food and a large list of dishes.helpful team, and great spirit. And very important, the charge is decent. I praise this place with no doubt.

My family loves this place. I make sure to some here often, or their other location in Stamford. Our favorite dish is the pastaschiouto. Often we come in and all get it it's that good. The fusilli and Famous Ray's pizza are also awesome. Atmosphere is on the modern side, music is a little loud sometimes.

One of the best! Great pizzas and great pastas, I live 500 miles away but whenever I'm even remotely close I make a detour to get a meal here.

Incredible ripoff.... much better, larger, and cheaper pizza just a town over. Pizza was mediocre at best. Very small pizza. Not enough to feed the family. No calzones..

Portions are adequate, food served hot. Great for families

I had cheesy garlic bread and the best veal meatballs. I also tried the mock grapefruit drink, it was refreshing. I will return.

The appetizers were good. People raved about their burger but I was not a fan. Patty was super thin, and cold cold bun. The service was perfect, work hard, and extremely accommodating. The place has a great vibe, open space, good music, and long bar for seating. 3 stars b/c I felt the appetizers were way better than the main courses. I expected the food quality to go up.

Good food and good environment. The restaurant is quite famous for its pizza. Other options of starters and main course are limited. Friendly service - food was delivered very fast. 4 star as options apart from Pizza is quite limited.

My family was just passing through in our travels and randomly decided to stop in for a quick bite to eat. The food and atmosphere was a delight, the staff was great, and our waiter was awesome. We'll be dreaming of the chicken parm my husband kindly shared with us. I will not be sharing my parm at future visits.

Always so good. The Luigi Bianco pizza is my favorite.

We have been here twice now.Everything is great about this place. Each dish is delicious, doesn't matter what you order,you cant go wrong. Our server was awesome, he was very attentive, courteous and everything nice. The ambient of the place is good too. I would just avoid going here on a Saturday night as it gets very busy, many people waiting and music gets too loud. Reservation made early on for weekends or for dinner is always a good idea. The manager even called us after our first visit to asked how our dinner experience was. :)

Food was nothing to write home about. Wedding soup good bit not wedding soup. Salad was good, ceasar. Staff young walking around with mouse ears on top of their head. Very odd... Over priced for what we recieved

They serve big dishes and for reasonable rates. helpful staff. Kudos.

OMG everything we had is to die for!!! So super yummy, the building is beautiful and the interior is awesome! The staff is super friendly and very helpful!

Great atmosphere. Tasty food. Fine offerings from the bar. Convenient parking. Call ahead to reserve seating on Friday and Saturday nights or you may have a wait.

Food is OK. Not like it used to be. This place has been open for 7 years and it's always crowded but the level of noise-music destroys the great atmosphere. One recommendation for this place: stop using Parmigiano on every single dish... Too much cheese.

Very good thin crust pizza ! We went there for a work day lunch, ordered half dozen pies and shared to try all the different kind - no disappointment, everything was good ! Though it was busy, food came out pretty quick. Will definitely recommend and try again.

Solid Italian-American food with a modern take. Great old style bar at entery way with lunch/dinner seating & then a warm, barn wood panelled dining room. Was hoping for a bit more of an upscale experience, but was not let down with the pasta special I ordered for my main dish or the service provided. Used to be a pretty vibrant spot, which now has turned more into a family scene lately, but the food was good, as were my drinks & dessert. The brick oven pizzas are pretty universally liked & my friend enjoyed the fish dish he ordered. All in all a low key feel to it, good for families & friends alike, but can get pretty busy on Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights- reservation recommended. We sat at the bar, had a drink, then moved to the dining room for dinner & enjoyed the whole experience.

Very good pizza. For my dinner, I had their oven baked ziti. It was delicious! Everything tastes absolutely amazing here!

Pretty interesting menu and very friendly and attentive staff. The food is good but not special. Big thumbs down on the lighting level, very poor light. Virtually impossible to read the menu at the main room front corner where we sat. Had to use my phone's flashlight to read it. The shinning item is the one they're known for, the fried meatballs. Very tasty. Baked ziti is alright with a light flavored red sauce not the deeper intense flavor I'd expect. That dish was served sp quickly after ordering there's no way it was in the oven very long. No toasted edges that make baked ziti special. My companions carbonara was excellent however. If your in the area, fine. We took a significant detour on our trip and it's not exciting enough to do that again. But the way, noisy. Very loud. Poor acoustics. People had to almost shout to hear each other the time progressed.

Went here for a farewell event with colleagues and the service was good. Great pizzas and pastas! They have some fancy deco in the restaurant.

What a great place the decor and the pies were excellent especially the white guy in the famous Ray's Pizza! Also we have the Caesar salad to fried meatballs they're crazy good definitely going back to try some of the other things on the manual can't wait and the staff was fantastic you got to check it out.

last night was the first time in this restaurant. But It is surely not the last time. We enjoyed the evening very much with the good service, with the superb dishes and booze and with the comfortable price. We will absolutely visit there in a short time.

Second time here and it is great. Food great and wait staff is great and bartender is great. Will definitely be back.

The venue offerd a good selection of Italian food at a moderate price. All of the food that I tried was delicious, with the thin crust pizzas being the party favorite. The atmosphere was nice and comfy with non-intrusive wait staff that were quick to respond to requests. The only downside was the music was too loud to allow relaxed conversation around the table, diminishing group conversation. Overall the restaurant was a good find, with great food and is recommended for smaller groups.

Excellent lunch!!!Wanted a casual quiet spot for a fri. afternoon lunch this fit the bill nicely. Drinks were good pizza(tenderoni)delish,had pasta and Cesar salad with chicken cutlet and broccoli rabe on side a perfect meal!! Waitress ended the meal with a bread pudding dessert on the house,which was awesome,spoke with the manager about the different locations,we shall be back!!!

We are in agreement with the great reviews regarding food, wine, and service. Decor also nice. However, noise level on a Friday night was awful. Our table for 2, instead of being near our own teen party at another table, was situated a hair’s breadth away from a monstrous party of young boys. Poor planning on management’s part. Normally we would have simply moved to the bar but we wanted to be able to view our own kid’s part across the floor. Frustrating.

Impromptu dinner on a Friday night. We had no reservation but the host was very helpful in getting us a table in 20 mins. Great food great atmosphere. Our server Rob was very knowledgeable and efficient without being imposing. Seamless service. The one thing I found strange though was that anytime my friend or I ordered a draft beer that the bar man seemed to have to leave the bar and walk to the kitchen to fetch said beer. I found this a little perplexing and maybe something to be addressed. But the staff, food and service 10/10

We like a lot going out. Last night we visited this delicious restaurant which we didn’t know before. We had a lovely time there with superb cooking and an efficient stuff and a distinguished chief cook. We put this venue in our phone list and we shall surely come back soon. We warmly recommend.

A gem hidden in the tiny town of Armonk. The food is outstanding and the drink program holds it's own against many in NYC.
